HOW do you eat?

We focus a lot on what we eat.  Let’s look at how you eat.

Pay attention to how you eat.  The way you eat can be just as important as what you eat.  Eating is a full-body experience.  To get the full benefit of a meal, pay attention to what you’re eating, eat slowly, savor the taste and aroma of every bite.  Resist the temptation to read or watch t.v. during meals.  You can become so distracted that you don’t even experience the food you’re eating.  Pay attention into the act of nourishing your body.  Besides increasing the pleasure you gain from food, this strategy can help you eat less. 

Nourishing your body is also nourishing your mind – enjoy both!!
